Things I won’t do (or at least don’t want to).

1. Plastic nuts. Even on a cheap guitar, I think one of the easiest things you can do to squeak the best out of that instrument is to put a bone nut on it. There are some other acceptable nut materials (GraphTech TusQ, Ebony, Ironwood, MOP), but plastic, or some other types of synthetic material are just not acceptable. And why shouldn’t you put the best on your guitar? Even the cheapest of cheap factory-mass-produced guitar, is still an instrument. At this point it’s already carved and assembled in to what it is, so why not make the most of it. And in that line of thought, a proper nut is one of the best places to start.

2. Purple Guitars Ok, so I’m not altogether serious here. If somebody really wants a purple finish on their guitar, I’ll do it, but I won’t like it! Unless it’s one of those Prince guitars. Or I’m making a guitar for Prince. His Purpleness can have all the Purple he wants.

3. Coming soon… I’m sure of it.
