Jazzimacaster
Here is a fun one! I’m building this guitar for Joseph Demaree of the Portland, OR-based band The Unit Breed. Joe is an incredible artist and a dear friend of mine. He actually helped considerably with the design of this one, including the stubby upper cutaway. I thought it looked kind of like a cross between a Jazzmaster and a Telecaster, so I nicknamed the guitar “Jazzimacaster.” Other than the unique body profile it also has stripped-down electronics, including a single Jazzmaster pickup in the middle position. The silver sparkle burst finish is well on it’s way but is going to be a lot of layers, so I’ll add some pictures of that when it’s finished.
